Extremely courteous people, who made themselves available to me and my needs better than I could have even imagined. The Trek was organized very well, tailored to my needs, and how my body acclimatized. Pemba, Dolma, and Pasang have organized my trek perfectly. Chhewang, my guide, was looking out for me in every moment, carefully studying how I responded to the altitude. He never pushed me, but in difficult moments he would wait for me to catch my breath and reassure me that we had all the time in the world: "slowly slowly, we're almost there" were his words. In a few instances, he would add "I think you can make it, no problem".
I strongly recommend Adventure Ascent!! actually, when I will go back to Nepal, they will be the first to know! I didn't expect to leave Nepal with such good friends, thank you to all four!
Imagine you always had a dream to achieve something “big” but you know, you can’t do it yourself... I always wanted to visit the Himalayas and see Mount Everest and other mountains of the 7 summits. Many many years later and with a good friend living there, I managed to plan a trip to finally go there.
I got in contact with Dolma @ Adventure Ascent and the rest, she/they took care of. From the time I arrived @ Kathmandu airport and until I left 12 days later, everything was taken care of.
It’s been the best trip in my life, met the kindest people, explores the highest mountains, and experienced the most emotional feelings while being there.
If you want to climb Mount Everest, one of their guides has been on top of the mountains 8 times, if you want a helicopter sightseeing or transfer, they arrange it, explore historical places in & outside of Kathmandu, they take care of you, I can’t think of something they could not do.
So plan on time, check your flight tickets to Kathmandu and leave the rest in their hands 🙏Namaste🏔
Adventure Ascent made our once in a lifetime trekking experience seamless and hassle-free. After a long flight with tired kids, we were greeted at the airport and made to feel welcome. We had arranged two treks through AA with our three kids, 7, 9, and 11 years old The first trek was the Manaslu Circuit / Tsum valley for 3 weeks, and the second, was a 5-week trek into Everest Base Camp - walking in a long way from Jahpre.
Adventure Ascent matched the perfect guide and 2 porters for our family. They were wonderful with the kids - often playing cards or games with them so we could relax. The guide and porters went out of their way to look out for us and chose the right places to stay and the right pace to walk. It worked as no one - not even the kids - got gastro or altitude sick in our 500km trek at up to 5000+ meters. Nothing was ever too much trouble for AA.
We highly recommend Adventure Ascent, especially if you are traveling / trekking with kids in Nepal.
We planned our Everest expedition together, my friend Pemba and I, well in advance of departure. We were a small and welded team that during the expedition became like a family together and all my Sherpa friends became my brothers. All preparations regarding equipment, travel, accommodation, food, and the team were arranged very professionally by Adventure Ascent. I had great confidence in Pemba's climbing skills, risk minimization, and experience of the mountain and felt a basic safety throughout the adventure.
On May 18 in the morning we stood at the top of the world's highest mountain. Big thanks and with love to Pemba, Dolma, Pema Rinjee, Pasang, Ngang Nuri, Nima, and the entire Adventure Ascent team.
I did a 6000m peak climb combined with a long trek through the Himalayas with Adventure Ascent. We planned the individual journey together and everything was organized perfectly. The business is led by very welcoming and friendly people who are familiar with any corner of the Nepal Himalayas. Bottom line - I had an amazing time!
A fantastic company to trek or climb with. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. You feel at ease with the guides and porters. A really well-organized team. Nothing is too much trouble. Over and above all the time from the moment you step off the plane in Nepal. My 3rd trip to Nepal and I'm already planning my 4th trek with the help of Dolma in the office. Can't wait to bring it on!
This was our second time in Nepal, the firat time was wornderful, but this time, it was outstanding. Can’t describe in words all the care we had during our time in Nepal. Since the arrival until the last day, everything was so well thought. The water, the food, the cookers, the carriers. I wish everyone that went to Nepal, had the same experience we had. Pemba and his crew took so good care of us, that, for sure, we want to go back. Highly recommend the services. I’m an experienced traveller and could never have imagined such a 5 star tour like this in Nepal!
All the staff working hard to make you have the time of your life in Nepal. They became true friends by the end of the trip. First of all I want to encourage everyone to visit Nepal. It is one of the smallest but nicest countries on Earth. Adventure Ascent booked the the best hotels for our trip. All the staff were very knowledgeable about the area. They also offered great sandwichs and trail packs, with lots of other treats. This hike allowed us to see many villages, interact with locals and enter their homes, do an awesome helicopter flight above Tilicho Lake and taste the Nepali local food. I will totally go back to Nepal to go on a next expedition with adventure ascent.
