Peak climbing in Nepal is an adventure sport into the mountains of Himalayas, with peaks above six thousands meters. Trekking Peaks of Nepal gives hobby-climbers an opportunity to tackle a high himalayan peaks. This is much easier than an expedition. Climbing a 6000 meter peak requires less technical climbing skills, but still offers a great deal of adventure. Trekking peaks trip offer a chance to climb a himalayan summit and a taste of being in the white wilderness, without burning a big hole in your pocket.

 

We offer peak climbing in popular trekking areas like the Langtang Valley, Annapurna Region and Everest Region with relatively easy access to the mountains. Most of these trips can also be completed within a short period of time. As an example Naya Khang and Yala peak in the Langtang valley can be completed in less than twenty days with plenty of time for acclimatization. Popular treeking peaks are for example Pisang, Chulu East and Chulu west in the Annapurna region. In the Everest region you will find the most popular peaks which is Mera Peak, Island peak and Lobuche Peak. You can also find many unnamned peaks to climb. Only the imagination can stop you. 

 

It is essential that participants are in excellent physical condition and have some outdoor background. Knowledge of use of ice-axe, crampons and ropes will come in handy before the actual climb begins. We will teach you the basics of handling ropes and other climbing equipment including safety considerations. All our climbing treks are guided by trained guides who are registered with the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). Our climbing guides are local people who are very familiar with the mountains and routes they guide on.
